Look how big I am!!
Hello all-

Rowan is 10 weeks old today!! He getting so big and its making me so sad, in a way, that time is just flying, but its also pretty cool that he can do so many more things now.

First of all, he had his 2 month Dr. visit last week and he is now over 12 lbs. and 23 inches long. A big boy for only 10 weeks. He is also growing out of all his 0-3 months clothes, and now getting to wear all of his cute 3-6 stuff. I love dressing him, boy clothes are so cute, and so much more me than girly, frilly, pink clothes :)


Let's see--his favorite thing to do these days is stand up--he just loves to stand up and look around at everything. He almost refuses to bend his legs. His neck is getting a lot stronger too, and he loves to be in the Baby Bjorn facing out also.

We've been going to a Mommy and Baby group on Thursday mornings, which have been great!! Rowan loves to look at all the other babies and is happy as a clam to just hang out and listen to all the moms and babies talk.

Last weekend we all went to the Oakland Zoo, which is one of the coolest zoos I've been to. It is up in the hills in a huge park called Knowland Park, and so the animals have lots of room to roam! There is also a lot of space to picnic and let your kids play. We had lots of fun on the train, it was Rowan's 2nd train ride already and again, he absolutely loved it!!

We still don't know who he looks like yet. His eyes are still blue, I am starting to think they are going to stay blue (they are kind of like my dad's), and his new hair is starting to come in light. Who's kid is he anyway--blond hair and blue
eyes??? But who knows, I guess everything can still change.

I am starting to get anxious about my return to work, which is supposed to be on Jan. 7th. We are looking at all kinds of different options including; me going back part time, me not going back at all until next year, and me going back full time, but Mike being at home with him on Fridays. So we'll see how it goes. I would really love to stay at home with him--I just can't get enough of him, and even miss him sometimes when he's napping (I know that sounds crazy, but I do), but I am not sure we can afford it.


Anyway we're heading down again to SoCal for our first Thanksgiving all together since my parents got divorced. My youngest brother Jason is hosting us at his house, and the whole family will be there, including significant others. Hopefully all goes well!
