Happy St. Patrick's Day, from me, your friendly neighborhood Leprechaun baby, Rowan! This month was full of firsts for me! First, I sat in the grass/four leaf clovers for the first time! This picture was taken in our backyard about a month ago, but now my dad has transformed it into a beautiful place for me to play over the summer, including a grassy knoll, an awesome brick patio where my mom can sit and read a book while I play in the grass, and a raised redwood garden bed where we planted strawberries, tomatoes, and carrots.







I also got to play with bubbles for the first time! I am not sure whether I like bubbles or my feet better though! Every time my mom blew the bubbles, I'd swipe at the bubbles for a bit and then end up playing with my feet!

















Hmmmm...I also got to meet my great-grandparents for the first time,and I went on my first road trip--to Bakersfield! I did really well in the car, and had lots of fun with my great granny and gramps! They just adored me, we played "this little piggy", and I showed them all my tricks-rolling over, scooting, grabbing and playing with lots of toys, and talking lots!






My mom also started a monthly Baby Potluck with all my friends from the "Baby and Me" group that mom and I went to every Thurs. until she had to go back to work. There were 5 babies and their families, and lots of playing, and screeching! I tried to drink some of daddy's bottle, but he wouldn't let me! I did steal quite a few toys away from the other babies though! The next potluck is tomorrow, at my friend Will's house, it will be so much fun, no doubt!



Let's see, I also started eating food! My mom makes some mean sweet potatoes, bananas, apples, yummy! I love it all so far, I even like to watch mom puree the food in the food mill--it goes round and round so fast!!





Unfortunately this month also brought some yucky stuff! I had me a bad battle with the runs! two and a half weeks of icky poops every couple of hours and an angry diaper rash! Lots of waking up at night too! Iam also growing like crazy right now--from Feb. 25th until March 13th (when I went in for my 6 month check up), I grew 1 inch! I am now in the 77% for height, now I'll probably get more chubby and then stretch out again!









There are so many things now that make me smile and laugh! Life is good! Hope its going well for all of you as well!
