hey guys, this is the last summer post..boo hoo. my first day of school meetings and such is friday, yes two days from today...but luckily mike (who works at the most awesome place on earth, thanks earl's) is staying home for a month with the boys! this will give them a chance to adjust to a new school and to getting back into the work/school routine. both boys will be going to chatham preschool (chathampreschool.com), which is right up the hill from our house and right on my way to work. rowan will be in a age 2-3 preschool class- i am a bit sad that he'll be starting preschool already, but i am sure he'll adjust and enjoy his new friends quickly. they also have infant care at the school, and there is only one other infant, so reid will be waited on hand and foot and the ladies there LOVE him, and are so looking forward to having a baby! he is such a sweet and smiley boy, i am sure they will love having him around...
pix 1: mike, aiden (our nephew about a month older than rowan) and rowan at our oldest nephew's graduation from 8th grade...GO Augie!
pix 2: reid riding his froggy blanket! he rolls over both ways already!
pix 3: reid and i at our vacation house in santa cruz...our awesome anna hooked us up with this awesome house in santa cruz for a little mini vacation. we brought 2 other families each with a child rowan's age (his 2 buddies, Will and Ivy, the 3 of them are the Mod Squad, at least that's what we call them)
pix 4: rowan in the backyard looking intently at the HUGE praying mantis that his uncle Patrick found on a crate of bananas. Mike brought it home, it was so big, it was scary...we put in rowan's bug container, but he wanted to let him go (good humanitarian boy that he is), and so we put him in our tomato and strawberry garden--he was still there in the morning...but now he's gone...out on the streets of Oakland, hopefully he'll survive, and not cause too much damage.
pix5: Reid looking cute!
pix 6: The Mod Squad looking too intently at the pita smiley face pizzas that I made to look up for a picture!
pix 6: lastly we have the new stewart mobile--a 2004 subaru forester 2.5 XT, yes that means turbo, and space all in the same mobile!! perfect for mike and for me :) 6 disc cd changer, air conditioning, stickshift, its a dream come true...especially for a girl whose driven old cars for the last 10 years! Hopefully this one will last us more than just a couple of years!!
Anyways...wish me luck in going back to school, and mike luck in getting reid to actually drink the bottle instead of just playing with it!!
Take care,
Angie Mike Rowan and Reid
