Someone once told me not to recycle diaper boxes right away....and man were they right! Rowan had his first "fort", his own little box house...we pushed and pulled him around in his box, and he had a blast! Hey ya'll, its April, the weather's nice, and we only have 2 more months until summer, yeah!!

March was pretty cool, grandma and grandpa visited (Green), separately of course, but their visits were so fun! With grandpa, we went to the zoo, and played lots-he even got to babysit one night and proved he's still got the "daddy" in him!
With grandma, we had a girls dinner, Mikey was away in Tahoe at a Bachelor's party...so we did lots of girl stuff--thrift store shopping, wedding planning etc. My mom's getting married in September. She taught Rowan "up", he holds his hands up now to show he wants to be picked up. He also (most of the time) will give you five, and kisses (very slobbery ones)!

I had my Spring Break the first week of April. During that week, we caught up with friends who stay at home with their babies. We went to the zoo with our good friends Heather and Kai. SO much fun, here he is all ready with a monkey hat that Kai let him borrow, on. We also went on the train at the zoo, always a hit!

This is a classic "Rowan" right now with tongue out, hardly ever puts that thing back in his mouth, he even got a dry patch on his chin from sticking it out so much! It is getting very challenging to change his diaper and get clothes on and off of him--he's sooo squirmy! He can move all over the place now-I don't know that I would call it crawling, but he does a mean "downward dog", and a quick and wormy "commando crawl"!

This picture was taken yesterday in our backyard, the grass is doing well and in this picture Ivy and Rowan are doing a great job mowing the lawn--good fiber I guess! These two are hilarious--Ivy was born 4 days before Rowan, and they hang out a lot. Last nigh though they were doing some wrestling on the lawn. Ivy doesn't crawl or move around yet, but she sits really well, Rowan doesn't sit for long, but moves around really well. So, whenever Rowan would get close to Ivy, she'd grab his hair and start pulling, but Rowan (as soon as she lost her grasp) would scoot away. Ivy would also take the toys from Rowan, but then he started getting them back and moving away from her so she couldn't get them...pretty funny to watch! Anyway, hope this finds you happy and healthy, and enjoying the great weather. We're off to a Spring Picnic today with all of Rowan's baby friends and their families!

Take care,

Stewarts
