Hey guys- our last couple of days of summer vacation are upon us. Wanted to share with your some pictures of our latest summer adventures! The first couple are of us at the Children's Discovery Museum (Sausalito). Although it was a cloudy day, the best part was all the outdoor activities--especially the hard hat area where you could fill up a dump truck with gravel, and shovels!


Also a hit was the music and hoola hoop area! In green and white is our hoola hooper fiend, Maisy!

Today we decided to go to the zoo, Rowan loves to be a frog and hop on the lily pads.

Yesterday we decided to take advantage of this special deal the Alameda theater was having; a fundraiser for schools, where they were showing kids movies for only $2. I figured if things went awry, at least it was only $2, right. SO we thought we were going to see Shrek3, but it was really King Fu Panda (not my favorite), lots of kung fun scenes. Result: Reid fell asleep in my arms and Rowan sat in his seat the whole time--about 10 minutes before it ended Rowan said, "mommy I want to get out of here." I was ready by that time too, and we left...much better than I thought!

These pix are of Reid and his friend Serena at our neighborhood Street Fair. They had a little petting zoo, which was huge hit!! Reid was soo excited to pet the pigs, ducks, and goats!

Reid's new love is bikes, everywhere we go its, "bi, bi, bi". Here he is with his two loves bike and ball!
Lastly, Rowan's dog. He is getting really good and drawing things that actually look like things: his favorite things to draw are spaceships, and racecars with "canxaust" coming out...not sure how he got that out of exhaust, but that's how he says it. We thought this dog was pretty good, of course we think he'll grow up to be a famous artist :) I'll leave you with a recent Rowan quote...We were all in the kitchen after breakfast when Reid decided to do a downward dog with hands and feet on the ground and head hanging in between his hands and I said, "wow, look Reid is doing some yoga", and Rowan replies, "yeah look Reid is doing some yogurt!" Super funny--Hope you are all well, next up is Rowan's big 3, can't believe he's almost 3 years old!
