I was super nervous to go to the ultrasound appt. I was really scared that the same thing would happen-no heartbeat...but luckily this time we had a heartbeat! Visibility wasn't so good because of a cyst on one of my ovaries, but still heartbeat=good news.

Around 8-10 weeks I was pretty morning sick-nauseous, but thank God no vomiting... by the 11th week or so, it really faded, and now I only really feel sick when I haven't eaten in a while. Not so bad at all, compared to others.

I went back to the Dr. on Feb. 7th at 11 wks to check on the ovarian cyst and had another ultrasound. This time Mike was there also and it was exciting. The cyst had capsized, visibility was better, and the baby was moving around like crazy. It already had "arms", and "legs", and it was floating, and flipping in the placenta. It even waved at us. It was really good to see all the movement. Lots of people said-yep, sounds like a little Mike in there. We'll see about that.

My next Dr. appt is March 15th-by then I'll be 4 months (16 weeks). Two weeks later on April 3rd, our 3rd wedding anniversary, we'll go in for our first complete ultrasound at the lab, and if everything goes well, we should be able to find out whether its a girl or boy. I really want to know, Mike is not really convinced yet, but I am not one for surprises.

So- today I am almost 14 weeks (3 1/2 months)! I have gained 2-3 lbs, at my last Dr. appt, I had gained 2, but 3 weeks later, I am pretty sure I have gained at least 1 more. My clothes are starting to get tight and uncomfortable. This weekend will be my first venture into maternity clothes shopping. Wish me luck.

I will post pictures when I actually look pregnant, now I just look kinda chubby, definitely no baby to show off yet!!

We'll keep ya posted on all the lastest details as they come!!

So-lots has happened since our first post!! My first Dr. appt in Sept. of last year revealed that at 8 wks. I had lost the pregnancy. I almost passed out in the doctors office. We were so disappointed, this was our first time, and we were so ready to have the baby. But, that's the way it goes... so after surgery, a very annoying uterine infection that wouldn't go away, and a 2 week prescription of antibiotics that wouldn't allow me to sleep, we were ready to try again.

Good thing is-we know our baby-making equipment works...after 2 months of trying, we were pregnant again. This time it was a Christmas surprise, and once again I was with all my family when I made the announcement. I found out on Christmas Eve, the baby is due August 30th 2008!!

As you can imagine-we are a little bit more cautious, and a lot more nervous this time. I was supposed to have my first ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy at 8 weeks, but I couldn't wait-I neede to know, so I asked if I could come in a couple of days early. Phew!! She fit me in!!
