Okay now this is really the last posting before he comes!! This is a picture of my recent trip to the Trinity Alps with my mom and Don. It was so beautiful--amazing, crystal clear rivers with plenty of water for wading and swimming.









This swimming hole looked like Hawaii-huge cliff with tropical plants growing out of it, and then a nice calm river flowing at the bottom.
















It was quite a steep and slippery walk to get down there but 100% worth the walk-I just slid down on my but when it got to slippery to walk!!
















Last weekend Mikey and I treated ourselves to a night at the Claremont. We went all out and got the Ultimate Spa package--one night stay (with a view of the whole bay), dinner for 2 at Jordan's a very nice restaurant (the most expensive meal I have ever had!!), breakfast for 2 also at Jordan's, and then massages for both of us. Plus lounging around at the pool all day!! It was awesome!!





So now--baby news!! I went to see a midwife yesterday and she did a pelvic exam and I am 1cm dilated and 40% effaced-so hopefully that means he'll be coming sometime soon!! I am starting to feel all kinds of weird feelings and strange sensations-I can definitely tell that he wants to come soon!! We're very excited to meet the little guy and will be letting you know soon how things went!!













This is our new nephew Aidan Joseph Wolfe. He and our baby will be cousins only about 2 weeks apart!! We're very excited for them to meet and become buddies!! He was 9lbs 10 oz., we're hoping our baby is a lot smaller, but I guess you never know until they come, right?

Baby Showers are over= baby is coming soon!! Reality is setting in. Baby's room is ready, clothes are in the dresser and clean, hospital bag is almost all packed, and I guess that means that soon we'll be parents!! Here are some pictures from our recent baby shower at our house, put on by my fabulous friends Heather and Becky!! It was beautiful and so much fun!!

My mom finished a quilt that she found in my grandma's house after she passed away. I was very glad to overjoyed to receive something from my grandma...
















My mother-in-law Carol made us a beautiful, colorful and very unique blanket for baby! What creative grandma's he has!!

Getting huge!


Hello all!!

I am now 36 weeks pregnant, and feeling like I am getting bigger every day. Just about 5 more days until the baby is considered full-term!. So he's about 6 lbs now and pretty much full size (height), he's just packing on the fat.

Activities, such as walking, are getting painful some days...I have been experiencing a lot of pain in the pubic region, and also what's called "round ligament" pain-kind of where your hip-flexers are--which is what makes walking hurt! Some days are better than others. The other thing that has been happening is, since my joints and ligaments are stretching and loosening up, I find that I cannot hold on to anything!! I am always dropping things-yesterday it was a 1/2 gallon of ice cream in the grocery store. After I took it out of the freezer, I dropped it and before I knew it, it was rolling all over the isle. Embarrassing!! I was just imagining people thinking "Ahh poor prego can't even keep a hold of her ice cream!"

There may be one more update before baby comes, but the next ones will hopefully include pictures of a cute and healthy baby boy with one of the following names:
