okay so the pix go from most recent back to rowan's b'day in september... we had a a surprise rain on the morning of rowan and ivy's birthday party, but that didn't stop us...with a couple of tents and a bunch of toddler's who needed to get out of the house we celebrated indeed. some went fishing with homemade fishing poles, some went to the playground, some chased geese, and still others waited in line for the twirl parents, who twirled toddlers until they were moments from tipping over from diziness! Fun time was had by all, thanks everyone for coming! Rowan had a great time eating bright green cupcakes (he picked the color for the frosting)...a kid after my own heart (green is my favorite color)! Grandpa and uncle Jason came up for a visit and were able to make the party and grandma stewart came too!

Reid is really enjoying his jumpy toys--he has a door jumper and a free standing jungle jumperoo that a friend let us borrow too...he loves to jump away and talk to the animals he sees on the jumper...it is really cute to see the boys starting to interact more...Rowan always helps Reid feel better when he's sad-super cute--says "its okay Reidi", and in the car, "almost home Reidi", even reaches over to shake the carseat like he's seen us do, to calm Reid down in the car. He's a really good big brother. He is starting to want to play more with him though, which can be tough, because he wants to sit on him, and crawl over him sometimes...Reid is tough and usually doesn't even mind, but as they both get bigger this is sure to be a problem :) Rowan continues to love trains, and, since we can hear them from our house, he always updates us on the trains that he hears...also when we are driving, since we're near BART and freight trains, he is constantly preoccupied in the car in his endless search for choo choos!

Reid is the smiliest and happiest baby ever...even now while it seems like he's teething it only takes a look to make him giggle and coo at you. He loves meeting new people and giving them his big two dimple smile. I remind myself every day how lucky we are to have two happy and healthy boys, it is such an adventure growing and learning with them and learning how to be good parents as they learn how to be eager and adventurous kids!

Yesterday we went to a cute little pumpkin patch to look at some pumpkins and take some pictures, we got some good ones I think...next weekend we'll go to a big one with all of mike's siblings and mom--lots of cousins and aunts and uncles to visit with! The top pictures are ones that I took today--our friend Heidi lives in Brentwood where a lot of corn is grown...every year she invites her friends over to go to the Corn Fest. This year since we couldn't make it, she sent us corn outfits for both boys!! Oh my gosh, they are so cute!! I couldn't get many good pix of Rowan--he just kept moving, but got some cute ones of Reid--Thanks Heidi-we'll have to make it next year and believe me, both boys will be in their corn suits!!

Hope everyone is enjoying Fall so far, Happy Halloween!
