Here are some pictures of the Stewart family Christmas gathering! We, somehow, fit about 16 people in our modest house, broke our oven bake setting in the middle of baking a prime rib, and we had a living room filled with gifts...but the night was if not chaotic, wonderful...I guess it was all the love in the air...Thanks for coming everyone...including Eric and Ari, who probably think our family is nuts...we had fun! Merry Christmas to you all!!

We are having a fabulously lazy day, watching our new LCD TV, bought for us by my brothers and dad...I guess they thought we needed to enter the 21st century, the 1984 painted TV wasn't cuttin' it...and playing with all of Rowan's new toys and books... We feel so blessed to have both of my brothers here for a week of "uncle" time with Rowan, and also to have Mike's family coming over on Saturday to celebrate with us...Rowan thinks that he has 2 new dads now, and calls both Jason and Doug, "dada". It is pretty cute to see them play with him...Rowan got his own armchair for Christmas and a big pooh bear, bigger than he is...he also got a wooden train and some great books about Redwood Forests, rainforest and tractors from his uncles...oh also one about animal mamas have baby animals in their tummies, maybe he'll get it? He is also loving his new Little People car garage with a car ramp....What fun to be 1 year old on Christmas...hope you are all healthy and happy.

Hello again-

Last night we went to the Tilden Park Carousel, which they totally decorate with lights and all kinds of Christmas trees for the holidays...Rowan went on his second carousel ride, and was pretty stunned by the whole experience...he had fallen asleep on our way to the park, so it seemed like he was pretty out of it at first, but then, by the time we were stopping, he was super excited....he also loved the choo choo, of course...Santa also made a a cameo appearance, although the schedule said that he only comes on Mon. and Tues. There are also a few pix of Rowan on the day after Thanksgiving at his friend Will's house...we're thinking we really need to get him big stuffed animal for Christmas, he adored this tiger...and looked like he was posing for the picture with it...also Rowan trying to feed himself for the first time...what a mess!
