Our turkey this year was deep friend , and amazing...our friends Becky and Todd
invited us to their house in Berkeley this year for a delicious feast!! Mike was very excited to fry the turkeys.

The day after Turkey Day, we had planned to go on the carousel in Tilden Park, I knew it was opening back up today after being closed to decorate for the holidays...but didn't know that they weren't opening until 5:30pm...so we went further into the park, parked and then got Rowan out to take a walk in the very foggy, damp, forest...then we heard the sounds of lots of kids screaming....we ventured further and found an awesome place called Little Farm. Its a kids farm, with lots of cows, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. You can bring your own lettuce, and celery to feed the animals. Rowan had SO much fun!! They also have a Nature Center there, which Rowan also loved exlporing, lots of animals there as well (stuffed), and lots of buttons to press at kids' height! It was an awesome find, and an awesome way to spend one of our 4 days off together...now we're napping and later we're off to a leftover party with all of Rowan's friends from his baby group at Kaiser...Should be fun, and tomorrow, we're going to Mike's mom's house to visit all the aunts/uncles and cousins, and grandma, of course!

I tried to post a couple of videos, but unfortunately after 5 hours, they still didn't load, but here's an explanation of what they were of...we'll try again next time with the videos, maybe our computer isn't fast enough...
Thanksgiving feast fun fest...after we got home from Thanksgiving at Becky and Todd's, Rowan had a bath and then proceeded to run around in the living room for about a 1/2 and hour...he ran around in circles around our coffee table like 10 times in a row...he was wild...could it have been the 2 bites of pumpkin pleaser I gave him??? By the way for those of you who didn't hear, we're expecting another boy in April...we're super excited to have 2 boys, no need to buy new stuff and no pink princess stuff in our house!! Hello everyone and Happy Fall! We are getting our first real storm of the fall and we are loving it, we've been anxious for some cooler and rainy weather for a while. We had a fun Halloween and an especially great time going to the pumpkin patch. Rowan is constantly learning how to do new things and say new words. In his vocabulary now are: door (his favorite), all done (after anything is done), kitty (we finally figured out what he does for kitty, it sounds like he's saying the letter "x"), thank you...plus all the others that I mentioned in previous posts...although he only says these words, he understand a lot more...he does quite a few signs now too, we've been doing sign language with him since he was about 5 months, kind of on and off, but now he understands and does the signs for all done, food, drink, dog, hat, dance, and probably others that I can't remember right now. When he's in a lovey mood, he'll also lean his head in to me when I ask for a kiss, and more frequently will come over and hold his arms out when we say hug. He also gives high 5's! He loves to dance, especially nude, and we've been trying to get videos of his, its hilarious, but he always stops and comes over to the camera when he sees it, its hard to sneak up on him! Anyway, we're getting excited to go visit grandma & popa Don, grandpa, and uncle Jason this next weekend for my mom and Don's wedding reception. Hope you all had a fun Halloween!
